08.14.10 Soo... Bad news. The O'Donnell parking structure (the original parking vendor for the Whitney / Nathan nuptuals) is closed indefinitely. However, there is an even closer, newer, more structurally sound option for your parking pleasure at the US Bank building, conveniently located on the corner of Michigan and Cass streets. Metered street parking is also available, if that is more your thing. As far as that boat tour thing goes... For you out of town types, we're planning on meeting at the Hampton Inn on Saturday at 12:15PM to walk to the Milwaukee Ale House. If you don't want to meander with us, please meet us there at 12:45PM.
08.13.10 For those guests traveling to Milwaukee via Gen. Mitchell International and in need of transportation to the Hampton Inn downtown, a good alternative to a taxi is the Go Airport Shuttle, offering affordable curbside service to all downtown hotels. The shuttle kiosk is located in the baggage claim area and tickets can be purchased upon arrival.
07.27.10 Two things! First, if housewares are not your thing, we are now registered at REI, a place that I am told is an acronym for... Um... Something. So! Go ye forth and get us a kayak or some granola or something. Or a kayak full of granola. Awesome. Additionally, turnout for the Saturday brewery tour / river boat ride has been outstanding! We have reserved another batch of seats, but at this rate we will have every boat from this tour company sold out soon. Soo, if you want in on this, please send those RSVPs in ASAP!
07.07.10 Note! We have been receiving a good deal of questions about the Saturday brewery tour / river boat ride. We have already purchased a batch of tickets with the tour company, so please do not purchase tickets directly from them. We do not have a limitless supply of tickets, however, so if demand on Saturday is greater than supply, we will have to sort it out on a first come, first serve / "Hey you are really from out of town, but you've seen all this stuff before, haven't you?" basis. Hope to see many of you there, it should be a fun time!
05.16.10 Details on the Saturday Riverboat cruise / Milwaukee brewery tour(s) with the Bride & Groom have been added to the event page.

It was a dark and cold night. In a dark and cold place.
The Place - A bar on the Marquette University campus.
The Players - Whitney and Nathan.
The Game - Darts.
The Wager - Love.
"You there! Identify yourself!" a husky voice shouted across the smoky bar. It was Nathan... handsome engineering student, mid-20s. Head full of hair... lustrous hair... glorious, sparkling hair. Hair blowing as if permanently caught in a fresh spring breeze.
"Um. Ok. Want a beer?" was the reply. It was Whitney... stunning nursing student, early 20's, somewhat distracted by thoughts of moving to Philadelphia. She had an interview the very next day. She wasn't looking for anything fancy.
Little did they know that this short (and rather awkward) encounter would set forth a chain of events - spanning two time zones and more than half of a decade - involving epic hair loss, loads of frequent flier miles, two cross-country moves, and a fancy ring. All culminating in the event to which this website is dedicated.
